Whether the Bombers get to play in the Eastern Final, the Grey Cup, or just the Eastern Semi-Final there is only one way the Bombers should handle their quarterback decisions.

The Bombers are in the playoffs via the cross-over and will be playing in the East.

What I have said for the last number of months is that the Bombers will make the rest of the regular season entertaining but I do not see them making any noise in the playoffs.

That conviction was only underscored based on how Winnipeg beat BC to get into the playoffs.

**Quarterback Play vs. BC**
Clearly Brown had a much better game than Collaros did.

It wasn't even close.

[Minutes into the 4th quarter BC decided to pull Salter from the quarterback position and put in Oladokun](https://profootballnewshub.com/cfl/news/reflections-bombers-score-does-not-tell-story), and that is when I knew the Bombers were going to win the game!

And while we do not know the status of Zach Collaros, we have seen over the years that the Bombers' Head Coach, Mike O'Shea is going to go with Collaros - even if his finger is all mangled in the Grey Cup in BC.

**Who Is The Bombers' Best Quarterback?**
While the answer might not be pleasant, it is Zach Collaros. Collaros is currently ranks [8th best quarterback as Brown comes in at the number 12 spot](https://newshubfantasy.com/rankings/cfl/qb). So there is not a question who the Bombers best quarterback is regardless of how each pf them played last game.

**Dru Brown**

**Zach Collaros**

The touchdown to interception ratio is better for Collaros, the rate is better for Collaros. While Colalros is not the saviour of the Bombers that he was in 2019, he does give the Bombers the best chance at winning.

You do not have to like it, that is just the fact of the matter.

**Who I Am Starting At Quarterback If I Am The Bombers**
Al lot of people have asked me who the Bombers should start in the Eastern Semi-Final. And whether it is in the grocery store, church, or out in the community I ask a lot of people the same question; I want to hear what people think. I am not the smartest guy in the room. I just get the privilege of writing these articles.

And as it turns out, some of us think the same thing.

Start Collaros...but!

If he is healthy, or even able to play, I would start Collaros. But if he struggles it is going to be a short rope before I put in Brown. How short? Well that depends on the score and his completions and interceptions. But short enough that the game is still very much winnable.

However, even after that I would be telling Zach to stay warm. If Brown comes in and does not get it going in 3-4 series...I am putting Zach back in.

Is this conventional? No. Does it mean that you might have no flow at the quarterback position? Yes. Is this something that coaching are likely to do? No. But this is it folks. If the Bombers do not win they are done! Throw everything at this game.

If Collaros is *going* I am leaving him in. If Collaros gets pulled and Brown is in a groove I am leaving Brown in. This is not complicated. I am not randomly switching Collaors and Brown in and out. But I also am not being so stubborn that I am making a change when there is not enough time left to make a meaningful difference.

What do you think? Let me know wherever you are reading this.
