Alright, some of you are going to want to jump on this right away as you got a little hurt reading the headline.

But let me ask this? What's the Bombers' record, and how many sellouts did they have this year?

Right now the Bombers' record is 8-9 and they are not currently in a position to make the playoffs. Yet the fans showed up game after game!

In fact, the Bombers will not hit double digit win for the firs time in 10 years. The Bombers could even miss the playoffs in 2026, so by all metrics this has not been a great year for the Bombers.

Yes, other stadiums are bigger, but the Bombers are still drawing bigger crowds!

"Winnipeg has seen a huge increase, going from about 25,000 fans per game in 2019 to 32,000 in 2025 — a gain of roughly 7,000 per game.

Montreal has risen from 17,500 fans per game in 2019 to 21,000 in 2025, an increase of 3,500.

BC has experienced one of the biggest jumps, climbing from 17,000 fans per game in 2019 to 27,000 in 2025 — a gain of 10,000 per game.

Toronto has improved from 12,500 fans per game in 2019 to 15,000 in 2025, an increase of 2,500.

Those increases total roughly 23,000 additional fans per game across those markets — almost exactly offsetting the 23,000-fan decline among Calgary, Edmonton, Saskatchewan, Ottawa, and Hamilton" - [source](https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1FodgxDPaN/)

Winnipeg has been plagued with issues this year, and if you have read any of my articles I have readily called them out. The Bombers simply have not been good enough this year, words that their Head Coach echoed after their most recent loss.

And for some reason the Bomber fans kept coming out.

In past years we have seen Edmonton, Saskatchewan, Calgary, and Toronto struggle to draw fans in. No I am not bashing those markets. I would love to see all CFL stadiums full. But in a day and age where life is more expensive, and many have more bills to pay than money left over at the end of the month, people are having to make prioritizing choices.

And do not get me wrong. It is not like Bomber fans are richer than other teams' fans. But for whatever reason Bomber fans keep showing up.

Maybe it is the hope that the team can round the corner and be like the 2019 Bombers. Maybe it is the unwillingness to concede that the run, or the dynasty, or whatever you want to call it is over. Or maybe Bomber fans are just a little bit more crazy (as a whole) then other team's fans. Our banner around the stadium does read, "Home of the CFL's loudest fans).

Maybe it is time to add to that banner, "Home of the CFL's most committed fans."
