Heading into Week 6, DeMario Douglas, Samaje Perine, Germie Bernard, Pat Freiermuth, Woody Marks, Jameis Winston, Darius Cooper, Chig Okonkwo and MarShawn Lloyd were all flagged as notable waiver wire targets. Each offers fantasy managers potential value as roster depth or bye-week fill-ins, depending on team needs and available budget.

Despite recent doubts, supporters argue Chig Okonkwo remains a tight end worth watching rather than writing off. The discussion stems from ongoing social media chatter rather than any new on-field news, suggesting his situation could still develop as the season progresses.

Terry McLaurin is questionable for Washington's game against Indianapolis after a hamstring issue surfaced on Friday's injury report, clouding his availability for Week 4. Meanwhile, linebacker Frankie Luvu and tight end Chig Okonkwo are both set to return, giving the Commanders a boost on defense and at tight end regardless of McLaurin's status.
